PROJECT SUMMARY:
HLI Research Director Timothy Caulfield was part of a research team that investigated behavioural risks for cancer through development, adoption, implementation, and evaluation of policy. The Coaltion built on the success of tobacco reduction strategies, expanding policy scope to focus on other behavioural risk factors for cancer, specifically obesity and related determinants, such as unhealthy diet and physical inactivity. The Coalition concentrated on three policy settings: schools, workplaces and communities.
